Founding Story for Truth Finders Outreach Inc. (2023)
 

Truth Finders Outreach, Inc. was founded in 2023 by Colleen Suggs, a visionary leader with a heart for faith, service, and community impact. The organization was born out of her work leading the Truth Finders Bible Study and a divine calling to serve as a catalyst for change within the community. Through her ministry efforts and personal experiences, Colleen became increasingly aware of the needs of individuals who were lacking basic support especially veterans, a concern that was close to her heart as the daughter of a retired veteran.

Her advocacy work, along with her service in managing the food pantry at her church, revealed the disparity faced by many who had faithfully served yet struggled to access fundamental necessities for daily living. Moved by compassion and guided by her faith, Colleen established Truth Finders Outreach as a continuation of the mission behind the Truth Finders Online Bible Study, where she serves as the Lead Teacher.

Grounded in her unwavering belief in God and fueled by a deep passion for humanity, she launched the organization with the purpose of advocating for the underprivileged, providing practical support, and being a voice for those in need.

Colleen’s guiding scripture, Psalm 82:3–4, reflects the heart of the organization’s mission: “Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.”

This scripture continues to shape the vision and outreach of Truth Finders Outreach, Inc., as it seeks to uplift, support, and serve the community with compassion, faith, and truth.
